This is a view of Dallas Union Terminal looking across from the passenger loading area toward the rear of the building.   Amtrak and Trinity Railway Express loading is to the left and DART is in the foreground.   All in all a very busy spot with something arriving or departing every 10 minutes or less.

DUT has been a fixture on the west end of downtown Dallas since 1916.

This is looking at the ticket counter in the waiting room area.   At the desk is Larry Hutsell, a long time Amtrak employee and respected member of the customer pleasing staff in the Western Business Group of Amtrak.   The lady in the foreground was waiting on her mother to arrive from Chicago on the Texas Eagle.

This is a view of the waiting room on the first foor at DUT.   Things are quiet at the moment.    This old waiting room is a friendly place to wait either to board the train or pick up travelers.
