the Museum's switch engine, #1303, in switching maneuvers.
John Dundee oversees the movement of the former Texas
Limited power into the Museum yard. The 'Limited was the
last excursion train to operate into Galveston, prior to the arrival
of the Texas Gulfliner. The Texas Limited went out of business in
the fall of 1994. The last regularly scheduled passenger train left
Galveston on April 11, 1967.

Looking good....even standing still! Amtrak Genesis locomotives
and Horizon coaches comprised the consist for the operation of
the Texas Gulfliner. The equipment is seen on the Museum's
track #5.
